Car split, driver injured in early morning Brockport crash
BROCKPORT, N.Y. (WROC) — A driver was injured after a vehicle crashed into an 18-wheeler trailer in Brockport on Saturday morning. According to the Brockport Fire Department, crews were called to Lake Road South for a motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle that reportedly went off the road and hit an 18-wheeler at 4:04 a.m. The car sustained heavy damage and was described as "split in two" by Brockport FD. When the fire department arrived, the driver of the vehicle was already outside the vehicle. Aid was provided at the scene by EMTs with the department before the Monroe Ambulance arrived on scene. The Monroe County Sheriff's Office also responded to the incident. At this time, no further details on the condition of the driver or the circumstances that led to the crash have been reported.
