Car lands on BART tracks in Castro Valley, westbound lanes closed
A car was involved in a three-car accident on I-580 in Castro Valley on Tuesday afternoon and ended up on the BART tracks. California Highway Patrol reported major injuries but the exact number is unknown. Two westbound lanes have reopened after a shutdown, however, BART service between Castro Valley and West Dublin/Pleasanton stations is currently unavailable.
