Car hits pedestrian, resulting in fatality in Oceanside
A tragic incident occurred in Oceanside on Friday evening when a pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Oceanside Boulevard and College Boulevard. The Oceanside Police Department responded to the scene, where a black Ford Mustang hit the pedestrian, resulting in fatal injuries to an adult male who was seated on the center median. The driver of the Mustang, also an adult male, cooperated with authorities, who have indicated that alcohol or drugs did not play a role in the collision. The OPD's Traffic Services Unit is currently investigating the accident, and the victim's identity has not been disclosed pending family notification.
