Car hits fence and rolls multiple times in a field in Fresno County, two injured
Two people were sent to the hospital in a rollover crash in Fresno County on Friday. Police officers responded to a single-car rollover crash in the area of Shaw and Locan at around 5:45 p.m. The car was traveling eastbound on Shaw when it left the roadway, hit a fence, and rolled over multiple times in a field. Both the adult male driver and adult female passenger had to be extricated from the vehicle by the fire department and were transported to the hospital. The female sustained moderate injuries, and the male sustained minor injuries. According to police, the driver was identified as 61-year-old Albert Rodriguez and was arrested for DUI. The collision knocked out the signal controls for the intersection, and the City of Clovis is on scene to repair it. The crash remains under investigation.
