The incident, which occurred around 10:45 p.m., involved two passengers - a 27-year-old and a 5-year-old. The driver was rescued from the vehicle and taken to the hospital for serious injuries before being arrested. The 5-year-old passenger sustained life-threatening injuries and was also hospitalized. The other passenger, a 27-year-old, received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. Speed is believed to have been a contributing factor in the crash, according to Milwaukee police. Criminal charges related to the incident will be forwarded to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
