Car crashes into tree in Fresno
FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A car crashed into a tree in Fresno Wednesday. Reports of a solo-vehicle crash came in at around 5:15 p.m. near West Fig Garden Drive and West Sierra Avenue. In a photo taken by YourCentralValley.com, the car's front and back ends are seen destroyed. Officers arrived on the scene and located two people in the vehicle. Both the driver and the passenger were transported to the hospital. They are both in stable condition. According to witnesses, the person in the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed, going in and out of traffic. At some point, the driver lost control and collided with several trees. Fresno Police are currently on scene. Police are currently blocking off westbound traffic on Fig Garden Drive.
