Car crashes into tree, catches fire near Granby intersection
GRANBY, Mass. (WWLP) - The Granby Fire Department was sent to a car fire near Barton and Pleasant Streets overnight. The Granby Fire Department states that crews arrived at the fire around midnight and found one car that had crashed into a tree and a fire coming from the engine compartment. Additional on-call firefighters were sent with a tanker for water supply. Pleasant Street was closed for about an hour. There is no word yet on the cause of the crash or if there were any injuries.
