Car crashes into local Sandy restaurant
SANDY, Utah (ABC4) — A driver crashed into local Sandy restaurant "Los Garcia" on Wednesday, according to Sandy Police. Anthony and Angelica Gonzales, owners of Los Garcia, said they were serving lunch when they heard a loud noise and saw a car coming through the building. "Just some freak accident," Anthony said. "We never expected anything like that, the way our parking lot is structured, it just really took us off guard." A driver crashed into local Sandy restaurant "Los Garcia" on Wednesday, according to Sandy Police. (Courtesy: KTVX via Dan Willoughby) Anthony said no one got hurt in the accident, thankfully, just a few minor injuries. He also mentioned that the driver was a regular at the restaurant. The Gonzales' have been in business for 13 years and at this location for 10 of those years. He said police are still investigating the incident.
