Car crashes into Denver home, catches fire; Driver taken to hospital
DENVER (KDVR) -- A crash that sent one person to the hospital is under investigation after a vehicle drove through the wall of a Denver home and then caught on fire. According to the Denver Fire Department, the crash happened on Friday near East 9th Avenue and Holly Street. DFD said they received the report of a vehicle crash involving a house around 1 p.m. Once fire crews arrived, they found a car on fire after it had been driven into a home. The driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital, but their condition is unknown. DFD said emergency personnel remain on the scene.
