Car crashes into building in Swansea
SWANSEA, Mass. (WPRI) — A car crashed into a commercial building in Swansea Wednesday morning. Crews responded to the scene on Swansea Mall Drive around 6 a.m. The fire department said the female driver was able to get out of the vehicle on her own and was not hurt. It was an electric vehicle, so the fire department said they followed protocol to ensure there was no further damage to the building due to the lithium-ion battery.
