Car crash takes out light pole on North Las Vegas street
An apparent crash knocked down a light pole on a street in North Las Vegas Friday morning. Police said they were responding to a single-vehicle collision on the Aviary Way overpass at the northern 215 Beltway. A car had jumped the curb on the northbound side after hitting the light pole from the center median. The light pole is blocking traffic but should be cleared by 8:30 a.m., according to North Las Vegas Police. ___
