A car collided with a home in Sunnyvale, causing damage to a natural gas line and leading to evacuations of nearby residents. The incident happened around mid-morning on Monday on Winstead Court. The vehicle hit a residence, causing a gas leak. As a safety measure, residents in the vicinity were evacuated until Pacific Gas & Electric crews managed the leak. Once the situation was under control, residents were permitted back into their homes. The driver sustained minor injuries, and the authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
