Car accident results in road closure and power outage in part of Mercer County
MERCER COUNTY, WV (WVNS) -- A road closure and power outage occurred due to a reported car accident in part of Mercer County. According to Mercer County Dispatch and a post on the Summers County WV 911 Center's Facebook page, a car accident on Hinton Road near Sun Valley School in the Lerona area of Mercer County resulted in a road closure and power outage in the area. Mercer County Dispatch stated that responding agencies included the Summers County Volunteer Fire Department, Athens Volunteer Fire Department, Summers County EMS, and the Mercer County Sheriff's Office.
