Car accident injures three at Cicero Circle K store

Three individuals were hit by a car that crashed into a Circle K convenience store in Cicero. The incident took place on Jan. 21, when emergency services responded to the scene on State Route 31. The driver, a 63-year-old Cicero man, mistakenly hit the gas pedal instead of the brake while attempting to park, causing his 2015 Chevrolet Traverse to collide with the building. The impact resulted in two men near the front and one woman in the back of the store being injured. The individuals were assessed for various injuries, with one man taken to the hospital for a minor wrist injury, while the others were treated for minor hip and wrist/ankle injuries. The driver sustained a cut to his finger, which was attended to on-site. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
