Bystanders save driver from river crash near Denver
On Sunday evening, in the Denver metro area, bystanders came to the rescue of a driver whose car had rolled and crashed into the South Platte River at 58th Avenue and York Street. The Adams County Fire Rescue believe speed was a factor in the accident. The driver was pulled from the partially submerged and overturned car by onlookers just before first responders arrived.
