Broken Bow woman killed in head-on crash in McCurtain County
Authorities say a Broken Bow woman has died following a crash in McCurtain County. Around 5 p.m. on Monday, emergency crews were called to an accident along Hwy 259 and Carson Creek Rd. in McCurtain County. Investigators say a vehicle, driven by 35-year-old Savanna Ennis, was heading northbound on Hwy 259 when it left the roadway to the right. Initial reports indicate that Ennis' vehicle traveled approximately 535 feet in the ditch line before returning to the road. Ennis then drove another 114 feet before her vehicle crossed the center line and hit a vehicle head-on. OHP says Ennis died as a result of her injuries. At this point, it is unclear why her vehicle left the roadway in the first place.
