BREAKING: Driver ejected, hospitalized after 3-vehicle crash in south Abilene
ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A driver was ejected and hospitalized after a 3-vehicle crash in south Abilene Tuesday afternoon. The wreck happened on the 5800 block of Buffalo Gap Road around 4:00 p.m. Police at the scene told KTAB and KRBC the driver of a truck, who was likely speeding, pulled out onto Buffalo Gap Road and clipped an SUV that was traveling south, causing that SUV to hit a second truck. This caused the first truck to rollover, ejecting the driver upon impact, and the SUV drove into a ditch. The driver of the first truck was hospitalized, and his current condition is unknown. No other injuries were reported. Investigators are now working to determine the exact cause of this crash. No further information is available at this time.
