BPD: Driver crashed into cars, restaurant with child in vehicle

A food delivery driver sped off from officers and struck two other vehicles before crashing into a Fells Point restaurant with a 6-year-old child in the car, according to Baltimore police.City police said Entertainment District Officers conducting traffic enforcement around 10:46 p.m. Friday saw a vehicle speeding without its headlights on in the 700 block of Broadway.Police said officers approached the vehicle when the driver tried to park. Police said officers spoke with the driver and learned she was picking up a food order for a delivery company.Police said the driver took off when officers asked for her license and registration. Police said she hit two other vehicles and crashed into a building in the 800 block of South Ann Street. Photos from Bunny's Buckets & Bubbles showed a white vehicle that crashed into the corner of the restaurant, causing extensive damage to the brick wall.Police said the 24-year-old driver tried to run off, but officers were able to arrest her and take her to Central Booking.Police said a 6-year-old passenger was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.A building inspector was called to assess the building, and all of the vehicles were towed away.
