NEW YORK -- Newly released body camera footage shows the shocking moment a car knocked a New York State trooper to the ground while she was at the scene of a crash. In the video, Trooper Bailey Martin can be seen on the roadside investigating a crash when a vehicle suddenly comes into view, hitting her and slamming into her patrol car. Martin was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and has since returned to duty. The driver of the car said he failed to see a posted stop sign due to the glare of the sun.
