Bicyclist injured in Terre Haute accident
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Terre Haute Police Department responded to an accident involving a car and bicycle on Thursday afternoon. The accident happened at the intersection of Walnut and South 7th. According to Lt. Justin Sears, the bicyclist was treated on scene by the Terre Haute Fire Department before being transferred to a local hospital. "Due to the location of the incident, both fire and police personnel arrived on scene almost immediately," said Lt. Sears. At this time, it is unknown how the accident happened.
