Bicyclist dead following crash in Lynchburg, police say
A bicyclist is dead following a crash in Lynchburg on Saturday, according to police. Around 5:35 p.m., officers with the Lynchburg Police Department and members of the Lynchburg Fire Department responded to Monroe and 10th streets. According to police, the crash involved a bicycle, operated by a man, and an SUV. The bicyclist was taken to Lynchburg General Hospital, where officials said he succumbed to injuries.
