Baltimore County police investigate fatal Pulaski Highway crash
A car crash that killed an 85-year-old last Friday is now under investigation by members of the Baltimore County Police Department crash team, the department announced Monday morning.The motor vehicle crash occurred in the area of Pulaski Highway and Born Lane on June 26.According to the preliminary investigation, the victim, Karl Pfrommer, 85, was driving a 2017 Subaru Outback westbound on Pulaski Highway when he attempted a U-turn and was struck by a 2016 Honda Odyssey that was traveling eastbound.Police said the octogenarian was transported to an area hospital with injuries sustained from the crash. He was pronounced dead on June 27.A passenger of the Honda sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was also transported to an area hospital.
