At least one person killed in Rt. 104 crash in Sodus
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Wayne County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that one person is dead following a Friday morning crash on State Route 104 in Sodus. Deputies responded to State Route 104 just east of State Route 14 just after 7:00 a.m. for a report of a two-car crash. The early investigation indicates a car being driven by Claude Krieger, 77, of Red Creek was heading eastbound when it crossed the center line, hitting another car head-on. Krieger was declared dead at the scene. The driver of the car that was hit had to be extricated and was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of a head injury. The crash is still under investigation.
