At least 1 person killed in crash on I-55 in Joliet, Illinois

A person was killed early Sunday morning in a multi-vehicle crash on I-55 in Joliet, Illinois.The crash happened at 5:12 a.m. on Interstate at Black Road in Joliet, according to Illinois State Police.State police said one person was killed, but did not provide further details.All southbound lanes were closed, and traffic was diverted off I-55 southbound at Route 30. All lanes later reopened.
