Arrest in fatal crash involving rideshare driver and passenger.

The Gilbert Police Department recently announced the arrest of a 35-year-old man in connection with a tragic collision that resulted in the deaths of a rideshare driver and her passenger back in September. The incident occurred when the Lyft driver, Nicole Snell, was transporting passenger Marisa Jorgenson and their vehicle was struck by the 35-year-old suspect, Robb Hintzsche, who allegedly ran a red light at a high speed. This led to the deaths of Snell, her passenger, and her dog Bellini. Hintzsche, who had been in the hospital since the crash due to injuries, was arrested upon his release and is facing charges including animal cruelty, second-degree murder, and felony endangerment. The Gilbert Police Department expressed their sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims during this difficult time.
