Albuquerque Police provide update on northeast motorcycle crash
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Police have released new information about a crash with injuries that occurred in northeast Albuquerque Monday morning. Officers were dispatched to Osuna Road NE and Jefferson Street NE at 6:55 a.m. for a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck. Through the investigation, police learned the pickup truck was traveling in the left lane on Osuna, just west of the intersection of Jefferson when the he motorcycle driver allegedly merged into the passenger side of the pickup truck causing the crash, police said. The driver of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition as of Monday afternoon. Drivers were urged to avoid the intersection while officers investigated the crash.
