Adult dead, 3 youths injured in Cockeysville crash, police say
An adult is dead and three youths were injured Friday night in a crash in Cockeysville, according to Baltimore County police.County police said officers were called around 9:45 p.m. Friday to Poplar Hill and Merrymans Mill roads for a single-vehicle crash.Police said a preliminary investigation indicates the vehicle was traveling south on Poplar Hill Road when it struck a tree.An adult passenger died at the scene, police said.The driver and a passenger, both juveniles, were taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Another juvenile passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was also taken to a hospital.The crash remains under investigation. No further information was immediately released.
