Adams County deputies probe fatal single-vehicle incident
Adams County deputies responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch on North Palestine Road on Feb. 14, authorities said.Adams County E911 received the call at about 1:53 p.m. Deputies located the vehicle and found the driver unresponsive behind the wheel. AMR ambulance personnel were dispatched and confirmed the driver was deceased, the sheriff’s office said.The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The Adams County coroner was notified and took possession of the body, and a wrecker removed the vehicle from the scene.The Adams County Sheriff’s Office said the incident remains under active investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available and after proper notifications have been made.
