ACSO responds to two-vehicle accident on LaGrange Road
ADAMS COUNTY, Miss. (KTVE/KARD) -- On Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, around 8:32 p.m., the Adams County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle accident on LaGrange Road. Courtesy photos ACSO When ACSO deputies arrived, it was determined that a Silver Jeep and a black Chevrolet Impala were traveling in the same direction toward Liberty Road. According to the preliminary investigation, the driver of the Silver Jeep attempted to pass the Chevrolet Impala at a high rate of speed. During the attempt, the Jeep sideswiped the Impala, causing the Jeep driver to lose control and leave the roadway, ultimately coming to rest in the bushes. According to ACSO, deputies were initially advised that the driver of the Silver Jeep had left the scene; however, the driver later returned and contacted deputies. "The incident remains under investigation, and appropriate enforcement action will be taken if warranted. This case remains an active investigation." Adams County Sheriff's Office
