Shantrell Spikes, 45, of Angie was arrested by Louisiana State Police related to the incident. The crash occurred near LA Highway 21 and LA Highway 438 in Washington Parish shortly before noon on Sunday, Jan. 4. Initial reports indicate that Spikes, driving a Toyota northbound on LA Highway 21, veered across the center line, went off the road, and then swerved back onto the roadway, causing the vehicle to overturn and land in a ditch.
