A Rockford restaurant seeks answers after car crashes through fence
ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — A Rockford restaurant and bar is looking for answers. A car drove through their fence, and it was caught on video. A car drove right through their fence damaging it last week. "I looked at the cameras system and seen the actual accident. we couldn't believe that he made it through the area, that it made it through without hitting the traffic signal box," said Owner of Pour House Restaurant and Bar, Todd Hoover. The car also drover to the other side of the parking lot hitting their rocks. Hoover filed a police report. Although, so far, they are still searching for the car. "We do have license plate cameras on the other side of the building right down the street. So hopefully that picked the plate up," said Hoover. The damage will cost around $1,000 dollars to repair. Hoover says he's been looking to get the fence fixed and he is in disbelief that the driver of the car didn't stop. "I've been looking for the right panels to replace it. I mean, obviously, you don't want to put something that's totally different in there," stated Hoover. "I just really couldn't believe somebody didn't say something. Didn't stop," said Hoover. If you or someone you know has seen the car, please contact Rockford police.
