8 injured, including 5 children, in 3-vehicle crash in Ossipee, fire chief says
Eight people, including five children, were hurt in a three-vehicle crash Saturday morning at the intersection of Route 16 and Pine River Road in Ossipee.Emergency crews responded just before 11 a.m. and found multiple vehicles involved, including one that had rolled onto its side, Center Ossipee Fire Chief Dana Cullen Jr. said. Officials say eight people were evaluated at the scene. Five children were taken to the hospital. All injuries are non-life threatening. Several ambulances from surrounding towns helped take patients to the hospital as crews managed the scene. Police and sheriff’s deputies also assisted.
