7-vehicle crash in San Jose causes several to be hospitalized
(KRON)-- A seven-vehicle crash led to several people being transported to the hospital in San Jose, according to San Jose California Highway Patrol (CHP). The crash happened on SR-87 southbound near Curtner Avenue around 11:15 p.m. When officers arrived, they determined that the seven-vehicle crash had been three separate crashes. All traffic was diverted to Curtner Avenue, closing the lanes for approximately two hours. Several people were transported to the hospital due to their injuries, but the severity of their injuries is unknown. None appear to be life-threatening. Alcohol and drug impairment does not seem to be a factor.
