7 individuals hurt in incident with Suffolk fire truck
In Suffolk, Virginia, seven individuals were taken to nearby hospitals on Wednesday afternoon after a collision between a Suffolk Fire & Rescue vehicle and a Sprinter van, as reported by the city of Suffolk. The incident took place at approximately 12:18 p.m. on Pitchkettle Road while the fire engine was en route to another call. Fortunately, all seven individuals sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Pitchkettle Road will be temporarily closed in both directions, as stated by the city of Suffolk, while the incident is being looked into.
