68-year-old rider identified in fatal motorcycle crash on Washington Blvd. in Ogden
The man killed in a motorcycle crash near the 3300 block of Washington Boulevard was identified. Robert Bow, age 68, was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle southbound on Washington Blvd. on Tuesday afternoon when a Ford Escape exited the parking lot at 3355 Washington Blvd. and attempted to make a left-hand turn. Bow was unable to avoid the crash and struck the front of the Ford, the Ogden Police Department said. Witnesses and fire personnel attempted life-saving measures, but Bow died from his injuries. "As we move through the summer months, we also want to remind everyone to use extra caution on our roads," the police department said. "Summer is often one of the deadliest times of year for traffic crashes. Please slow down, stay alert, keep a proper lookout for motorcycles, bicycles, pedestrians, and other vehicles, and make safe driving a priority every time you get behind the wheel." _____
