61-year-old Saline man dies in snowmobile accident in Upper Peninsula
A tragic incident occurred in Clark Township, Michigan, on Saturday afternoon, resulting in the passing of a 61-year-old man due to a snowmobile crash. Michigan State Police reported that the man from Saline, Michigan, was driving a snowmobile on Trail 47 when the vehicle hit a bump, causing him to be ejected. Despite receiving medical assistance, the man unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. Substance use is ruled out as a cause of the crash. Emergency responders from Clark Township, Mackinac County Sheriff's Office, and Michigan Department of Natural Resources collaborated with troopers at the scene. The township is located approximately 329 miles northwest of Detroit in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
