5 taken to hospital after 3-car crash at York County intersection
Five people were taken to an area hospital after a three-car crash Wednesday afternoon at a York County intersection, according to Eureka volunteer firefighters. The fire department and Eureka EMS were called at 3:01 p.m. to the intersection of Plank Road and Rinley Road in Hopewell Township to investigate a crash with possible entrapment. At the scene, emergency crews found a driver of one of the three vehicles trapped inside, according to the Eureka Volunteer Fire Department. While crews worked to rescue, treat, and transport all five people involved in the crash, Eureka Fire Police shut down the roads and worked to provide a detour. Pennsylvania State Police arrived shortly after and investigated the crash, the fire department said.
