46-year-old woman killed, several hurt in two-boat collision in Baldwin County

BALDWIN COUNTY, Fla. -- A two-vessel crash in Baldwin County on Saturday left a 46-year-old Mobile woman dead and sent several others to the hospital, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. Officials say the crash happened at about 8:10 p.m. in the Intracoastal Waterway near Wolf Bay. A 27-foot 2024 Albury Brothers vessel collided with a 23-foot 2013 Key West vessel, according to officials. Officials say Kristin Delaney was a passenger on the Albury Brothers boat and was critically injured in the collision. She was taken to South Baldwin Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Brooks Delaney, 51, of Fairhope, who was also a passenger on the Albury Brothers vessel, was injured and taken to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola for treatment, according to officials. ALEA stated they identified the operator of the Albury Brothers vessel as Drew Delaney, 49, of Mobile. The Key West vessel was operated by Cameron Neil, 32, of Houma, Louisiana. Officials say Neil was injured and taken to Sacred Heart Hospital for treatment. Three passengers on the Key West vessel were also injured and transported to Sacred Heart Hospital: Talyn Faulkner, 25, of Raceland, Louisiana; John Lyle, 28, of Houma, Louisiana; and Rayford Reeves, 34, of Schiever, Louisiana, according to officials. Including the operator, there were eight people on the Key West vessel at the time of the crash. Officials said that aside from those who were injured, all other people involved and both vessels were transported to the Wharf Docks in Orange Beach. Troopers with ALEA’s Marine Patrol Division are investigating. No additional information was released.
