4 injured in ejection car crash in Jamestown Township
JAMESTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — At least three people are seriously injured, including at one person who was ejected from a car, after two vehicles crashed in Jamestown Township, deputies say. An SUV and a Jeep crashed at the 200 block of Adams Street near the intersection with Kenowa Avenue on the border of Kent and Ottawa Counties around 11:40 a.m. Sunday, the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office said in a release. The 21-year-old male driver of the SUV crossed the center line into the westbound lane of Adams Street, hitting a Jeep being driven by a 63-year-old woman, OCSO said in a release. Four people were injured, at least three of them seriously. The 21-year-old SUV driver was pinned and had to be cut out of his car, his passenger, a 79-year-old man, was ejected from the car. The 63-year-old Jeep driver and her 65-year-old passenger were also seriously injured. The three older adults were taken to a hospital. The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office and Jamestown Township Fire Department responded to crash. It remains under investigation.
