3 patients transported to hospital following crash in Clinton
CLINTON, Conn. (WTNH) -- A crash at the entrance to the Clinton Crossings Outlets sent 3 people to the hospital on Saturday. The Clinton Volunteer Fire Department said they responded to Route 81 in Clinton on a report of a two-vehicle collision. According to the fire department, they were advised that a person was trapped inside a vehicle. Using hydraulic extrication tools, members successfully removed the patient from the vehicle. That individual, along with two others involved in the accident, were transported to the hospital for evaluation, said the fire department. It is unknown what caused the crash, nor is it known how extensive the injuries were.
