3 injured after collision between vehicle, SacRT train in Rancho Cordova
(FOX40.COM) — Three people were critically injured after a Sacramento Regional Transit train collided with a car in Rancho Cordova on Thursday afternoon. Video: Family of man shot by ICE raises concerns over transfer Sacramento Metropolitan fire officials said they responded to the incident between a vehicle and a light rail train near Folsom Boulevard and Mills Park Drive around 5:21 p.m. Fire officials said three people were transported to the hospital with critical injuries. One person had to be extricated because their foot was trapped. The collision occurred at the crossing, Sacramento Regional Transit said, and it's believed the vehicle went around the crossing arms and into the train's path. This is a developing story.
