29-year old killed after industrial accident in Salt Lake City
SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — One employee in Salt Lake City suffered fatal injuries Thursday morning after an industrial accident. According to the Salt Lake City Police Department (SLCPD), the incident happened near 1800 West and 1500 South. Officials reported a 29 year old male was working at a job site when the accident occurred. Allegedly, a piece of metal was being hoisted from a crane when it came loose, fell, and crushed the man. No other injuries were reported. The investigation is being taken over by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The name of the individual and the company involved in the incident have not been released.
