25-year-old woman dead following crash in Hoffman Estates

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. — A 25-year-old woman died in a car crash Friday evening in Hoffman Estates. Authorities responded to the area of Barrington Road and Higgins just after 6:50 p.m. on the report of a single-vehicle crash. The driver, a 25-year-old woman from Crystal Lake, was transported to St. Alexius Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. She was the only occupant, according to police. The crash remains under investigation. Police ask anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact them at (847) 781-2846.
