22-year-old dies after crash on Wedgewood and 8th Avenue
Metro Nashville Police say that a 22-year-old involved in a single-car crash Monday afternoon has died. Police say the driver's BMW X3 crashed into a light post on 8th Avenue South and Wedgewood Avenue around 3 PM. The driver was taken for treatment at Vanderbilt where he later died. The Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct toxicology testing to determine whether impairment was a factor in this fatal crash.
