21-year-old male passes away shortly after Stark County collision
A young man tragically passed away a few days after a collision in Stark County, Ohio. Clayton Jacobs, 21, of Atwater, Ohio, was driving on State Route 44 in Marlboro Township when his vehicle crossed the center line and hit another vehicle driven by Constance Tawney, 74, of Canton, Ohio. The impact caused both vehicles to go off the road, with Jacob's vehicle overturning. He was taken to Akron City Hospital with severe injuries and passed away on Dec. 23. Tawney suffered minor injuries and was also hospitalized. The Ohio State Highway Patrol's Canton Post is still investigating the crash.
