2 seriously injured after motorcycle, car crash in Catskill
CATSKILL, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Two people were sent to the hospital Monday night following a motorcycle and car crash in the town of Catskill, according to New York State Police. The incident reportedly occurred in the area of 5450 Route 32. Police were dispatched to the scene just after 9:15 p.m. Upon arrival, troopers reportedly found the operator of the motorcycle -- identified as 64-year-old Ronald Edwards of Durham -- and his 40-year-old passenger with life-threatening injuries. Both individuals were sent to Albany Medical Center in separate LifeNet helicopters, police said. The driver of the car involved in the crash was reportedly not injured. According to a preliminary investigation, the motorcycle was traveling northbound on Route 32 when the southbound car tried to make a left turn into a driveway, colliding with the motorcycle.
