2 sent to hospital after crash damages building, causes gas leak

Two people were taken to the hospital after an early morning crash damaged a commercial building and caused a gas leak in Myrtle Beach.Crews with Horry County Fire Rescue were dispatched around 5:20 a.m. Monday to a crash involving two vehicles in the area of the 9700 block of North Kings Highway near Magnolia Plaza.According to officials, a commercial building was struck during the crash. Utility equipment was also damaged, causing a gas leak.Two people were taken to the hospital for evaluation of possible injuries.
