2 injured in Perinton crash along Erie Canal bridge; road closed

Perinton, N.Y. — A driver and passenger have been hospitalized with minor injuries after a Thursday morning crash in Perinton that led to a partial road closure. Monroe County Sheriff's deputies and Bushnell's Basin Fire Department are investigating the crash along the Erie Canal bridge on Pittsford Palmyra Road. The westbound lanes of Pittsford Palmyra are closed at nearby Kreag Road. Deputies advise travelers to seek alternate routes. We will provide an update when the roadway is reopened.
