2 injured in crash on I-85 that blocked all lanes Tuesday morning
Update: Lanes have reopenedOriginal story: According to the South Carolina Department of Transportation, all lanes are blocked on a section of Interstate 85 in Anderson County. (Raw video from the scene above) Officials say it is due to a crash on the northbound side near mile marker 10 in Townville. At this time, the coroner's office is monitoring the incident, but they confirmed they were not called to the scene. Our crews on the scene say a pickup truck ran into the back of a tractor-trailer. According to the Townville Volunteer Fire Department, one patient was flown to Greenville and another taken by ground.Fire crews say traffic is being rerouted through the weigh station and to expect delays. They say you can also use Highway 243 as a alternate route. We will keep you updated as we learn more.
