2 injured in crash involving dirt bike
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- Authorities are investigating a crash involving a dirt bike and a pickup truck that injured two people on Monday, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office said. Officials responded to Braley Road in the town of Porter around 10 a.m. after receiving a report of a serious injury motor vehicle accident. A dirt bike driver, 20-year-old Kayden Smith, was found unconscious at the scene and was transported to ECMC with life-threatening injuries. Officials said Tuesday that Smith is continuing to recover from his injuries at ECMC. The driver of the pickup truck was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Officials said a preliminary investigation found that the dirt bike driver tried to enter Braley Road through a tree line and pulled into the path of the pickup truck. The Niagara County Sheriff's Office Accident Investigation Unit is investigating the crash.
